Born and raised in the Southern city of Charlotte, North Carolina. I enlisted in the US Air Force and served four years with a work focus in Logistics. Following discharge, I earned a BS in History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I spent almost 12 years with Eastern Airlines before they went bankrupt in 1989. Afterwards, I got involved in Human Resources and Staffing and the most recent 30 years working in the banking and electric utility arena within the Fortune 500. Recently retired and now reflecting on world travels, my bucket list and sharing life wisdom I hope might be valuable.
